7 Day Tanzanian Wilderness Expedition: From Ruaha to Selous

Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be met and transferred to your lodge, Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

After an early breakfast, we will transfer to Dar es Salaam's domestic airport for a charter flight to Ruaha National Park. Ruaha is a year-round destination offering exciting game viewing experiences. We'll stay at Jongomero Camp, where scheduled game drives and activities are included.

As the largest National Park in Tanzania, Ruaha boasts a diverse range of wildlife and bird species. Enjoy open vehicle morning and afternoon game drives with breaks for meals and relaxation at Jongomero Camp.

Following breakfast, we'll transfer to the nearest airstrip for a flight to Selous Game Reserve. This expansive reserve is known for its elephant population and offers opportunities for walking safaris and boat safaris (optional activities with an extra charge). We'll stay at Siwandu Camp, nestled near Lake Nzerakera.

Selous Game Reserve is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, especially during June to February. Enjoy game package activities including walking safaris and boat safaris to explore the rich biodiversity of the reserve.

Embark on open-sided 4WD game drives accompanied by expert guides to encounter Selous's diverse wildlife. Private vehicle arrangements are available at an additional cost.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a short flight back to Dar es Salaam. For evening departures, a day room can be arranged. Transfer to your departing flight, concluding your safari adventure with lasting memories.
